​The Jardin Urbain learning center welcomes a growing group of children aged 6 to 12 years old whose education is happening entirely outside the school system. We work in partnership with homeschooling and unschooling families who wish to include other adults and resources in their learning project.

We spend our time in a warm, small-scale, stimulating environment where mornings are dedicated to practicing French and math, and afternoons are spent in outdoor free play as well as workshops in the arts, science, humanities, and much more.

What makes Jardin Urbain stand out:

- an eclectic pedagogical approach where self-awareness and citizenship are at the heart of our learning;

- a flexible schedule: it is possible to register part-time, for a maximum of 4 days per week. This allows kids to choose the activities that interest them, parents to pursue their professional life, and family balance to be a priority;

 

- a multi-age group;

 

- a low ratio of adults to children;

 

- a bilingual environment (FR & EN).
